Hungary national team manager Erwin Koeman is set to be at Plymouth Argyle's match against Bristol City on Tuesday to watch Krisztian Timar in action.
Hungary have a friendly match against Israel on February 11th followed by World Cup qualifying games in March and April and Koeman will want to check out the form and fitness of Timar before naming his squad for the Israel game.
The 29-year old centre-back hasn't been a regular for Argyle this season but after a poor run of results manager Paul Sturrock has threatened to make some changes for the visit of Bristol City with Timar likely to start and ensure Koeman hasn't had a wasted journey to Home Park.
Timar has been capped twice by Hungary but last year missed a number of games due to a head injury sustained in the final game of last season against Wolves in the Championship.
